The families behind the farm

Goldbeck and Finke gave Moonraker its first shape and spirit.

Team and hosts at Moonraker

Moonraker’s story starts with people. The Goldbeck and Finke families built the place with affection, practicality and a sense of humor, and that still shows in the details all over the farm.

Rather than creating a generic lodge identity, they allowed Moonraker to stay personal, a little eccentric and deeply rooted in the landscape around it.

The feeling guests remember is not polished performance but genuine presence: a place where hosts, animals, objects and surroundings all seem to belong to the same story.

Warm, informal hospitality

A stay shaped by people as much as by scenery.

Hospitality at Moonraker

The team on the ground helps Moonraker feel easy and real. The atmosphere is welcoming, practical and unpretentious, whether guests arrive for a quiet bush stay, a group trip or a special event.

Moonraker feels less like an anonymous hotel operation and more like a place shaped by the people who live and work there.

The people who give the farm its warmth

Hospitality here is close, informal and memorable.

Hosting at Moonraker

Whether you arrive for a night in a bungalow, a team gathering or a longer farm stay, the people around Moonraker shape the experience as much as the scenery does. Hospitality is present in the small gestures, in the relaxed pace and in the sense that the farm is shared rather than staged.
